Bryan attended Camberwell School of Art in South London where a great emphasis was placed on “Fine Art” and the ability to draw.
On leaving Camberwell, he spent the next three years with a London advertising agency learning the art of a graphic designer. He then joined the Times Publishing Group as an art director for a number of years, then became a freelance consultant to a number of major multinational publishing houses.

Françoise began her studies at the Art et Publicite in Paris.
After employment by Galleries Lafayette in Paris and St. Maxime she moved to London were she was employed by a number of major magazine and book publishers.
One of Francoise’s main strengths is her figure drawing, with the ability to capture movement with the minimum of detail.

There are just six places on each course, working with our two tutors, Bryan and Fran Austin.

These unusually small groups enable the student

To achieve maximum progress throughout the course.

Both tutors have a depth of experience gained while employed by a number of international companies.

The advantage of having two tutors on each course

means we are able to cater for the needs of each

student, part of a group may choose  landscape, while others a portrait or life class.
